What we collect when you contact us

When you send an enquiry, book a site survey, chat with us or message us on WhatsApp, we collect what you give us. That usually means:

• your name, phone number and email address
• your address, or the site where a charger would go, and details about the property
• your vehicle, how you charge, and anything else you tell us about the job
• photos you send us, for example of your distribution board or parking space

If we survey or install at your property, we also keep the records of that job: the quotation, the installation details, the Certificate of Fitness and the warranty information.

What this website collects automatically

Like most websites, this one uses cookies and similar technologies to understand how the site is used and which of our advertisements bring people to it. These tools collect information such as the pages you visit, how you arrived (for example, from an online advertisement), your device and browser type, and an approximate location based on your IP address. The tools are:

• Google Tag Manager, which loads the two Google tools below.
• Google Analytics, which measures how visitors use the site.
• Google Ads, including Google’s conversion linker, which stores the ID of a Google advertisement you clicked in a cookie, so we can tell whether that advertisement led to an enquiry.
• Cometly, an advertising-attribution service. It stores an identifier in your browser and also creates a device fingerprint — a code generated from your browser’s characteristics — so it can match your visit, and any enquiry you make, to the advertisement you clicked.

Our website host, Vercel, also keeps standard server logs, which include your IP address.

Chat, forms, bookings and WhatsApp

• Our enquiry forms, booking calendars and website chat run on a customer-relationship platform provided by HighLevel (also known as LeadConnector). What you type into them is stored there.
• The chat receives the Cometly identifiers described above, so an enquiry started in the chat can be matched to the advertisement that brought you.
• When you tap a WhatsApp button on this site, your first message is pre-filled with a short reference code, for example “Ref: CNG-…”. It links your enquiry to your visit, so we can tell which of our advertisements work. You can delete it before you press send. WhatsApp is run by Meta, and your messages are also covered by WhatsApp’s own privacy policy.

Reviews

The Google reviews shown on this site are loaded through a widget provided by Elfsight, which may collect basic technical information, such as your IP address, in order to display them.

How we use your personal data

• to reply to your enquiry, arrange a site survey and prepare a quotation
• to carry out the installation, register the charger with the Land Transport Authority, issue the Certificate of Fitness, and provide warranty and after-sales support
• to help with a grant application, where you ask us to
• to understand how our website is used and which advertisements bring us enquiries, so we can improve both
• to send you marketing messages, but only if you have agreed to receive them
• to meet our legal, accounting and regulatory obligations

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only where it is needed for the purposes above:

• the service providers named in this policy, who process it on our behalf
• the Land Transport Authority, to register chargers as the law requires
• charger manufacturers and their Singapore distributors, to register and support your warranty
• the Licensed Electrical Worker, and any partner or contractor who carries out part of the work, such as solar installation
• government agencies or others, where the law requires us to

Data stored outside Singapore

Several of the services above are run by companies based outside Singapore, so your personal data may be stored or processed overseas. Where that happens, we require it to be protected to a standard comparable to the PDPA.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for — for example, for the life of a warranty — or for as long as the law requires, such as for accounting records. After that we delete it or make it anonymous.

How we protect it

We use reasonable security arrangements to protect personal data against unauthorised access, use, disclosure, loss and alteration.

Your choices

• You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and a tracker blocker will stop the measurement tools described above from loading. The site still works either way.
• You can stop Google Analytics collecting data about you with Google’s opt-out browser add-on, and control personalised Google advertising in Google’s My Ad Center.
• You can ask to see or correct the personal data we hold about you.
• You can withdraw your consent to our using your personal data, or opt out of marketing messages, at any time. If you withdraw consent, we may not be able to keep providing a service that depends on it, and we will tell you if that is the case.

We will respond to requests as soon as reasonably possible, and normally within 30 days.
