About Sinexcel
Most DC charging conversations jump straight to a floor-standing cabinet and a supply upgrade. That is the right answer for a depot running heavy vehicles, and the wrong answer for a workplace, a dealership or a light fleet that simply wants a vehicle back on the road inside the lunch hour.
A wall-mounted DC unit sits in that gap. You get DC speed and a CCS2 connector at a fraction of the footprint, mounted on a wall rather than bolted to a slab. The trade-off is honest: 30kW is real DC charging, but it is not the 120kW a depot cabinet delivers, and it does not meet the 50kW floor the EHVCG grant requires.

Is a 30kW DC charger fast enough?
It depends entirely on dwell time. A 30kW unit adds roughly 100km of range in about half an hour, which suits a dealership or a workplace where a vehicle sits for part of the day. If you need vehicles back on the road in minutes rather than half-hours, you want a 60kW or higher cabinet instead — and we will say so.
Does a Sinexcel DC30 qualify for the EHVCG grant?
No. LTA sets a minimum rating of 50kW for the Electric Heavy Vehicle Charger Grant, so a 30kW unit falls below the threshold regardless of how well it suits the site. If grant co-funding is part of your business case, your specification starts at 50kW. If it is not, a 30kW wall unit may well be the better commercial decision.
Can it be wall-mounted anywhere?
It needs a sound wall that can carry the weight, adequate supply capacity and enough clearance for the cable and connector. That is more demanding than an AC wallbox and considerably less than a DC cabinet needs. We confirm all three at the free site survey before quoting.

For DC at 50kW and above, LTA's EHVCG grant may co-fund half the eligible cost, and we handle that application.
