Frequently asked questions
Is ABB better for commercial or home use?
ABB's strength is commercial and fleet charging — networked, robust and centrally manageable. It works at home too, but for a single-car home a value brand often makes more sense. We recommend honestly based on your situation.
Can ABB chargers be networked across a car park?
Yes. The Terra AC is OCPP-native, so multiple units can be monitored, managed and (where relevant) billed centrally — which is why fleets and workplaces choose it. We handle the load assessment and setup.
Is ABB eligible for the commercial charging grant?
Eligibility depends on the site and charger type, not just the brand. For commercial DC installs the EHVCG grant can cover a large share — we assess your eligibility and handle the paperwork.
How much does a ABB charger cost in Singapore?
We don't publish flat prices — the right ABB unit, your cable run and site works all affect the figure. We give a transparent, site-specific quote after a free survey, with no hidden costs. An LTA registration fee applies to AC chargers.
Who installs my ABB charger?
A Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW), on its own protected circuit, tested and handed over with a Certificate of Fitness. Typically within 1–3 days of your survey. Every install is TR25-compliant and LTA-registered.
